I’ve been pretty overwhelmed lately thinking of how incredible my fans are. Most that I have encountered are smart, witty, well-spoken, and charming.
It got me thinking…who listens to erotic hypnosis?
It is fascinating to me how many consider erotic hypnosis to be their primary source of erotica and masturbatory material. It seems it takes a special kind of mind to be more aroused by imagination than a close up shot of a abnormally sized cock banging away at a various orifice of some random woman. If I could actually measure a demographic of listeners of audio erotica, what would I find? Are you smarter? Is the IQ average higher? Are you better lovers? Are you more creative than the average Joe? I’d like to think that you, the listener, are all those things.
I suppose this is my thank you. When making the transition 5 years ago from clinical to erotic hypnosis, I was certain that I would spend most of my time dealing with creeps. I’ve designed adult websites for about a decade now and have heard so many horror stories from phone sex operators, models, & porn actresses about abusive & exploitive attitudes of customers. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the creeps were quite the minority in femdom hypnosis. I have found most of you to be so entertaining with your wit, intellect, and manners. I have fans that I consider to be true friends, with or without the fetish. You are all amazing and I adore each and every one of you.
Tell me, am I on to something? Do you think you’re a bit different?
I agree 100%. To me, sexual arousal comes from the mindfuck. Roleplay, foreplay and seduction are what does it for me. I get off on that a lot more than the actual act of sex which to me is the amazing dessert at the end. The seduction, the foreplay, etc is the entree not the appetizer. This is probably why I’m so into femdom hypnosis and cuckolding as well as chastity play and edging. As an aside to that, its probably why I find a woman in high heels and a sexy business outfit sexier than a woman who is dressed like a stripper.
We’ve spent HOURS on the phone together so I think I can admit to being articulate and intelligent, so that seems to be in line with what you’re saying. I need to get some moneypaks and visit Tessa’s lair again, if you’d have me. Wonderful post, Tessa.
I definitely think your return is needed Jonathan
As someone who probably represents one of the creeps Tessa was referencing, I still think I have some worthwhile thoughts to add to this discussion. Yes, of course I think my preference for erotic hypnosis over traditional bang-and-gag-til-moneyshot pornography makes me the intellectual superior to the majority of the lesser members of my gender. Though, I can’t judge them too harshly. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t regularly expose myself to typical porn. I like pretty women when they’re naked and being all sexy. I’m not a monk. But, I will say that erotic hypnosis ultimately gives me a more satisfying and pleasurable experience. In particular I like the creativity. Porn scenarios are so cliched that they’ve become boring. I’d much rather listen to erotica produced, written, and performed by an erotic hypnotist who actually cares about the quality of her work and engages her audience to find out what they like. Beyond that, there are still other opportunities this medium offers for guys like me.
I consider myself to be a true romantic. Most of my sexual fantasies include a long period of “Pride and Prejudice” style flirting before any naked fun times take place. Sure I think sex is great, but its better when emotions are fully engaged, when the mood is set, and when the focus is on the entire experience and not just getting to the climax. For me, its all about the seduction. That process of enticing and persuading a person into sexual behavior. Taking them from a state of calm relaxation into arousal, into the surrender of their will, into that blissful first embrace, and finally into that euphoria that only comes from bodies entwining together. If it wasn’t such a cheesy phrase, I would call it making love. I’ve never seen porn capture that.
I know this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Honestly, I’m a little ashamed sometimes that I don’t enjoy frivolous sex the way that our modern society accepts it, be it through media, literature, or even my beloved pornography. But while my search continues for the perfect woman to share my sappy romantic sexuality with, I am so glad that I’ve got erotic hypnosis as an outlet to somewhat experience sex the way I like it.
*kneels* I’ve never really left. I simply….can’t.
i don’t think i’m particularly intelligent or remarkable…
my guess is that it’s very easy to dismiss someone as a creep on first glance, but even us lowly maggots (might) try to be better than that.
Well, if you want some creeps, go to Youtube and get a look to those who stalk young children about watching hypnosis videos or capable female hypnotist making them finally close their accounts (whaa! We miss some gems this way!). But I suppose they’re just a few people with tens of fake accounts.
I think I can quote most of what Matty wrote. However, in my opinion, a big point is that hypnosis (and especially femdom hypnosis) attracts hyperrational people. If you’re hyperrational, you probably spend lots of your time fighting against your non-rational part. But what is hypnosis? Isn’t it the turn off of your rational part? This is sufficient for it to be erotic! Then, if you meet a woman who can mix sex, seduction and hypnosis, obviously you just want to stop your thinking and obey.
In fact, e.g. if you read erotic hypnosis-related stories where the induction is not well described, or see a stage hypnosis show video posted on YT without the induction, it is always pointed out by someone. Why? Because it’s SO INCREDIBLY EROTIC to see people fighting not to fall asleep! It’s the part beyond your control who takes control over you. It’s the fight you’re losing. The freedom from your hyperrationality. And that’s why complete amnesia suggestion is so sexy, or that we hope to meet a woman on the street who makes us go into trance without realizing it using a conversational induction. Let’s do something we can’t control!
This is just my opinion, but I’m quite sure it’s right for a good part of us.
And that’s the point: if you’re hyperrational, you use your brain before your cock, and don’t stalk women. Or you are a high-sophisticated stalker who finally is a meticulous serial killer…uhm…pay attention, Tessa, we want you here for a long time again! 😉
Generalizations and stereotypes are always dangerous, but I really think femdom hypnosis requires a taste for imagination and how our minds works that can attract to creative and hyperrational people.
Personally, I consider myself an inteligent man. A man so inteligent that I´ve found out that relinquish my control to powerful, beautiful, intelligent women is the best decission I can make.
There are a lot of studies about intelligence and many people dedicated to them, so I hope someone is working in this “Femdom Hypnosis Theory” and can prove it. This would be my new favourite hypothesis about intelligence, ahead of my current number one: “Chocolate makes you smarter and increases your chances to win a Nobel Prize”.
